The above sites were viewed to gain insight on Web 2.0 technology. After reading through the article and glancing through several entries on the read write web I have come to the conclusion that there are some many ways to communicate , research , and engage in using the web these days. It's not just meant for emailing and playing games anymore. Some of the Web 2.0 tools that I enjoyed learning about were the Wikis, social bookmarking and social calendars. I personally would have a hard time using these in my own classroom but we do occasionally have older students come in to work with my students in such ways as reading groups and center activities, and I could see the older students using this as a way of capturing the memories they have made over the course of the school year and giving it to their buddy at the end of the year.
